TRUMPF's MobileControl application provides a streamlined and adaptable solution for monitoring and operating manufacturing equipment. By replicating the standard operator interface directly onto an iPad touchscreen, it offers an alternative to traditional static control panels for overseeing and managing machines.

For machine operators, this technology facilitates continuous oversight of the production process, even when not physically standing at the control panel. The application enables users to retrieve detailed machine information or switch programs from various locations surrounding the machine, such as in the clearing area. Additionally, the integration of a live camera feed allows operators to monitor ongoing production activities directly on their iPad screens.

Implementation of the MobileControl app does not necessitate any modifications to existing network infrastructure. The setup requires only a machine equipped with a wireless operation point, the MobileControl software, and an iPad with the application installed. Users can securely connect to the machine's wireless network via the iPad. Moreover, access to the control panels of other machines is possible, provided those machines are also equipped with wireless operation points.
